Saratoga, Calif. – U.S. Olympian Vicky Galindo, 2007 ESPY winner Taryne Mowatt and 2010 National Pro Fastpitch Defensive Player of the Year Lisa Modglin are teaming up with Bandits assistant coach Mike Steuerwald to hold a December and a Januar clinic in Saratoga, Calif. and San Luis Obispo, Calif.

On December 18 and January 15, the three Chicago Bandits and Akron Racer (Modglin) will hold a Coaches Clinic, Youth Clinic (grades 5 – and a High School Clinic at West Valley College (Dec. 18) in Saratoga, Calif. and at Cuesta College (Jan. 15) in San Luis Obispo, Calif. Each clinic will feature three hours of clinic instruction from professional players, a Bandits t-shirt, instruction on hitting fundamentals and drills, fielding fundamentals, team defense, pitching, speed and agility.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with West Valley College and Cuesta College with our Bandits of Tomorrow program,” said Bandits General Manager Aaron Moore. “This is a great opportunity to get the Bandits and the NPF in front of more fans. It’s also a great way for these schools to make some money through the partnership.”

The Coaching Clinics will run from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. and will cost $25 if registration forms are received before December 15. The Youth Clinics begins at 10 a.m. and will conclude at 1 p.m. To conclude the day, the High School Clinics will begin at 2 p.m. and end at 5 p.m. Registration for the Youth Clinic and High School Clinic costs $75 per player if a registration form is received by December 15. ———————————————————————————————————————————–
